Investigating the topic of socially engaged and critical Hungarian art, this research endeavours to explore artistic practices emerged in the past 10 years. Engaging with artists, undertaking research, and creating socially engaged art events around Europe are essential elements of this PhD research.

A one-year long film project on Tibor Csernus, Kossuth Prize recipient artist. The job comprises professional guidance and consultancy in recruiting interview subjects and in building the artistic strategy of the film-making process; the coordination of interviews with art historians, art collectors, and directors of major art institutions.

A research and project based gallery with a long history in the London art scene
A two semesters long research placement on my course. I worked on the structure of the gallery’s extensive archive, undertaking thorough research on both the gallery’s history, its structure, and events happened between 1989 and 2000.

As a major role I was project coordinator of the symposiums ‘MAPS 2017’ and ‘MAPS 2018’. Among many other duties, catalogue editorial responsibilities were on me for both of the MAPS conferences and the related exhibition ‘Save As... – What Will Remain of New Media Art?’ in 2017. As curator and exhibition assistant I took part to great extent in research tasks at exhibitions e. g. ‘Gilbert & George Scapegoating Pictures for Budapest’ and ‘Fluxus and Friends’.

KASSÁK MUSEUM, Budapest (HUN) 2016
Research Assistant
A research focused institution on the avant-garde scene of the 20th century Hungary. At Kassák Museum, I got the opportunity to participate in a research group of young scholars. During this period, I thoroughly studied materials and sources for the exhibition ‘Signal to the World. War-Avant-Garde-Kassák’. I also undertook and obtained a high level of knowledge on working with archives at the National Széchenyi Library, Budapest. I also had curator and event assistant duties e.g. at the conference ‘Dada Techniques in East-Central Europe
(1916-1930)’.
